Georgian Sterling Footed Salver

A fine and substantial London  silver salver of the George III period. There is a large and beautifully engraved monogram in the center, a raised shell border and well cast ball and claw feet. The hallmarks are well stamped and clear. The maker’s mark “RR” is alternately attributed to Richard Rugg or Robert Rew, Both of whom were known to make salvers in the period.
