Chinese Hardwood Three Part Desk

An attractive, well made and very practical large desk made in China in the nineteenth century, probably for export. The top lifts off from the two vertical sections so that it can be easily transported, though the careful construction and very dense wood make it quite sturdy and stable when set up. It is finished on all four side for use anywhere in the room.
