A rare complete three volume set of the monumental study of the history of medical practice in Virginia. There is one volume devoted to each of three centuries; the 17th, 18th and 19th.
The 17th century volume was printed by the William Byrd Press in 1930. It is an octavo in maroon cloth. The other two are quarto volumes with boldly decorated cloth covers printed by Garrett & Massie in 1931 and 1933.
All three volumes are in excellent condition.
