Washington, Lithograph by James Baillie

James Baillie was one of many talented American lithographers competing with the more famous Currier & Ives firm in the mid 19th century. His address on 87th Street Near 3rd Avenue is a pricey Upper East Side neighborhood today. This is a nicely colored and well preserved image in a period, but refinished, frame.
