Virginia Walnut Drop Leaf Table

An attractive and practical breakfast, or small dining table from eastern Virginia. The straight Chippendale legs with a beaded outer edge are very deeply chamfered on the inner face so that they are actually pentagonal in section. The inner frame is very heavily constructed, all of southern yellow pine. With its original iron hinges.
