Theo Miller Photograph Collection

Frederick Theodore Miller, known as Theo, was a photographer in Fredericksburg with a studio on Main [Caroline] Street shortly after the Civil War. Later in the 19th century he moved to Heathsville in Northumberland County on the Northern Neck. These photos were found years ago in the old Miller home. A number have Miller’s identification, many are unidentified and a few are from other photographers in Norfolk or Washington. Now housed in vinyl sleeves in two large notebooks. There are approximately 100 photos.
