St. Louis, Missouri Silver Baby Mug. Edward Mead

A good American coin silver baby mug by an uncommon southern maker. Edward E. Mead worked in St. Louis from the 1830’s until 1870. This baby cup was never monogramed. It has a fine beaded band at top and bottom. There are a number of small dents around the belly, evidence of its use.
