This fine pot is from the time of Edward Moore’s work at Tiffany. It appears that the same basic form could be customized with various styles of decoration. This example is rather elaborately decorated in a pattern similar some of the Tiffany “Persian” silver. There is a monogram together with a nicely engraved anchor on the base. The capacity is given as 3 1/2 gills, which makes me think that it may have been intended for the British market.
