Small Colored Engravings of American Scenes, Barlett, Meyer, etc

Small illustrations of our still young country were popular all over the world in the 19th century. Not only did Americans want to know more about the rest of the country but others thinking of immigrating, or just curious, created a ready market for American illustrations. William Henry Bartlett from England and Hermann Meyer of Germany were just two of the artists creating these images. We have a large selection of these attractive prints.

The dimensions vary but most are horizontal and about 6 x 9
