Six New England Queen Anne Style Dining Chairs

These very nice hand made walnut chairs are 20th century, but virtually indistinguishable from 18th century Rhode Island chairs until you remove the slip seat frames and look at the inner blocking. There are stamped maker’s initials on some of those blocks, but we don’t know the maker. One chair has lost a single knee return on the side of a front leg. It does not affect the structure.
