A fine and substantial neoclassical silver bowl with a swing handle and well preserved gilt interior. Fully hallmarked for Moscow, 1832 with the mark of assayer Nikolay Dubrovin. The maker’s mark can be found on page 18 of Paulson’s Russian silver book, but is listed as unidentified. A small piece of the applied ornament on one side has been gone a long time.
