Rockingham Pottery Furniture Supports

We believe these uncommon mid 19th century objects were intended to raise a piece of furniture, perhaps off of a damp stone floor. They are quite sturdy, capable of supporting considerable weight, and have just a bit of a lip around three edges.

If a damp floor is not a concern they could make attractive display stands for smaller objects.
