Rare PAIR of Chinese Export Shaving Bowls

Shaving bowls are an uncommon form in Chinese export porcelain. We have never before seen a true matching pair. These are decorated with an elaborate gilt monogram in the center and very well painted landscape reserves around the border. There are holes in the foot rim to facilitate hanging.
