Rare Bilingual Infantry Tactics Manual

There is no author indicated in this book. The printer is shown as Jonas Lorenz of Strasbourg on the title page with the publication date of 1771. It is printed in both French and German with same text in the the two languages facing each other on opposite pages throughout the entire book. It is formatted as three books bound and presented as one. The pages of each section are numbered separately with 91 printed pages in the first, 55 in the second and 141 in the third. It is in its original 3/4 leather binding with a piece missing at the head of the spine but the spine label is still intact. The text is in excellent condition. There are some early owner’s inscriptions in both the front and back.
