President James Monroe Land Grant

An attractive document, beautifully printed on vellum, signed by Monroe as President, and now carefully framed under museum glass with an image of Monroe and an engraved brass plaque. This is a grant for 160 acres in the Missouri Territory to a War of 1812 veteran and signed by the only President who ever served on the Fredericksburg town council.
