A Victorian enameled cast iron tobacco jar topped with a small bronze standing Napoleon figure. The Base is marked “Clark & co. N4” T. & C. Clark and Company of Wolverhampton was founded in 1795 and continued in business until the 1960’s. In the mid-19th century they were well known of their ornamental enameled iron wares and won a medal at the International Paris Exhibition of 1878.
