A large and colorful transfer printed jug with a view of the New Bridge at Sunderland on one side and a Crimean war emblem with the flags of France and Great Britain and the mottos “God save the Queen” and “Vive L’ Empereur” flanking a “Crimea” cartouche on the other.
There are some rust stains to the interior and very fine hairlines in the glaze at the base.
