A 19th century porcelain platter with floral decoration and the heraldic arms of the Winch family, possibly descendants of Samuel Winch of Framingham, Massachusetts. The platter does not have a maker’s mark and it is not Chinese export porcelain. The porcelain body seems like some French porcelain, though it is quite heavy. There is only a single impressed number, 6 or 9, on the back.
