James Gaskins, Norfolk and Portsmouth, Va. Tablespoons

These four spoons were made by James Gaskins who worked in both Norfolk and Portsmouth. Interestingly the mark shows the old style of using an “f’ for the “s”. Catherine Hollan’s book shows this mark along with several others where he adopted the more modern “s” usage.

These spoons have all been well used by an energetic right hander.
