Hugh Wishart, NYC Eight Teaspoons

A fine set of eight teaspoons by a very good Federal period New York silversmith. They are all clearly marked “Wishart” for Hugh Wishart who had shops on Wall Street and various other New York addresses from the 1790’s until the 1820’s. He made some very fine silver and is represented in the Metropolitan as well as a number of other museums. They are beautifully monogrammed “RM”
