Georgian Sterling Meat Skewer

Meat skewers like this make excellent letter opens these days, but you certainly could use it for its original purpose. The maker’s mark on this one is quite worn. We think it is probably Peter and Ann Bateman and the style of the ring at the top does match known Bateman examples. The other marks are clear.
