Dutch Armorial Chinese Export Porcelain, deJonge

A handsome armorial dinner plate with the arms of Cornelis deJonge a VOC official in Bengal. The deJonge family was important in the Dutch East Indies for generations.

There is a barely visible hairline at the rim and a glaze pop sanded in the period above and left of the arms.
