Cambridge University and Baltimore Framer’s Labels

A pair of attractive colored engravings “Costume of the University of Cambridge”. One shows “Under Graduates” and the other is “Graduates”. Both are in very well preserved mid-nineteenth century gilt-wood frames with the label of M. Barrett, Carver and Gilder at 82 Howard St. Baltimore. The Winterthur library dates these labels to 1853-60. The prints date 1815-30.
