Baltimore Coin Silver Spectacles, Samuel Black

A remarkably well preserved pair of marked early 19th century silver rim spectacles from Baltimore. In the Baltimore directory for 1812 Samuel Black is listed as a “Whip, Cane and Spectacle manufacturer, 212 Baltimore St.”
