This attractive and very functional mahogany secretary has tulip poplar and white pine secondary woods indicative of a Mid-Atlantic origin. Stylistically it seems related to some federal period Baltimore pieces, but I doubt that it was made in Baltimore. The brasses are good quality replacements.
