A Fine Chippendale Mahogany Chest

A Fine Chippendale Mahogany Chest

One of the best quality pieces of English furniture to come our way in a long time. The case is so well constructed that one could mistake the interior for a nearly new piece. It has full dust boards between the drawers. The feet are constructed with the alternating grain stacked blocking indicative of the best London work. The drawer fronts are all cut from the same plank and the maker has carefully alternated the direction of the grain from one drawer to the next. The brasses are original.
