American Redware Bedpan with Manganese Decoration

A rare and perhaps under-appreciated form in early American pottery. This piece, with nice splashed manganese decoration, is likely from Pennsylvania though it does bear great similarity to some of the Southwest Virginia and Tennessee redware.
