This fine American watch came to us from a prominent old local family. Coalter Bryan Carmichael, whose monogram is on the back and whose full name is engraved inside, was the great grandson of Dr. James Carmichael who came here to practice medicine in the late 18th century after being trained at the University of Edinburgh.
The high grade Waltham movement needs cleaning.
